North East Guitar Festival 2014

North East Guitar Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary with a wonderful series of concerts, international artist debuts, our Young Artist and Tomorrow People Platforms, new music commissions, workshops, foyer events and a special tribute to Paco de Lucía.

The guitar is unique in its appeal to people of all ages, musical tastes and economic means; immerse yourself in that most colourful and versatile of instruments: the guitar!

The shock of the sudden loss of flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía (1947–2014) in February this year is still with us. North East Guitar Festival 2014 will pay tribute to Paco de Lucía, with a concert featuring young flamenco guitarist Dani de Morón and his trio.
