Announcement: Special Event: Mini-Masterclass and Recital by guitarist Kevin Cahill

We are very pleased to welcome guitarist Kevin Daniel Cahill to our meeting tomorrow, 21st April, to give a short masterclass and recital. The event will start at 7:45 pm after a tea break from 7:30 to 7:45. The masterclass will comprise two players from the society, after which Kevin will play a short recital of 10-15 minutes.

A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Kevin formed the Glasgow Guitar Quartet and also performs with Tom Kerstens' G Plus Ensemble. He has performed at various venues in the UK and Europe, including amongst many others the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh Festival, Kings Place in London, and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. In 2016 Kevin was appointed Guitar Lead at Newham Music in London. Kevin continues his studies on the Masters of Music programme at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Germany, with Professor Tomasz Zawierucha.

The charge for attending is £3 on the night.
